Golden Antelope is one of three imprints established in 2004 by founders and emeritus publishers, Neal Delmonico and Dr. Betsy Delmonico. Along with Blazing Sapphire and Naciketas, we publish literary fiction, poetry, translation, and academic monographs. In September of 2026, George Koors took over as lead publisher for our imprints.
If you are an author or agent, please feel free to submit your literary fiction or poetry to us for consideration during our submissions period.
Translators of Sanskrit and Bengali are encouraged to contact us directly to explore the possibility of translation work. Academics and scholars in the humanities, specifically folklorists and writers of critical theory, are welcome to contact us as well to explore working together.
Mission
A Welcoming Small Press with a 20 Year Tradition of the Highest Literary Standards
We stand in opposition to publishing monopolies, and seek to treat all authors with the seriousness and respect they deserve. Accordingly, we aim to remove AI and automation in all forms from our work, and provide authors with the substantive feedback and planning they deserve.
At all three imprints we will:

Provide highly detailed editing feedback to authors whose work merits complex revision

Respond to all queries personally and treat all writers, even those we do not work with, with dignity and respect
