For a deeper understanding of Steven Wineman's forthcoming novel, The Therapy Journal, read his "Erving and Alice and Sky and Elisabeth." The essay was nominated for a 2016 Pushcart Prize in non-fiction. In it, Wineman meditates on his life with Elisabeth Morrison. The novel's fictional character, Lathsamy, is modeled largely upon this brilliant but deeply traumatized lawyer.
